MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Shoreham Sailing Instructions

Two important changes to get your heads round !!

1 No need to go thru the gate on each lap , although you can if you want to .

2 The finish line will be a short one laid on the starboard side of the Committee boat - the start line will be on the port side . This will enable me to set a proper start line while boats are finishing the previous race - I would hope to be able start the sequence for the next race as soon as the last boat finishes the one before

Look forward to seeing you all to help me drink the draught DOOMBAR we are getting for the occasion

Is that alias the 'vintner'? Septimus Fry now has Merlin 3582 Winder Mk 1. Just had to see whether you were right about my weight being too much?

It is indeed the vintner and i hope to see you both at Shoreham
Once you dry out you must contrast and compare sailing down our waves in a merlin vis-a -vis a Wayf .

Sadly, cannot be there and doing Hornet Nationals at Torbay at same time. Hope yours is a cracking event. With benefits of Doombar, it will be. Kind Regards. Septimus' crew.
