Anyone had any luck doing this? What did you use?

I know i need a new one, but if this will get me by for now it would be ideal.

clean with neutral detergent and brush/warm water. Decent camping shop will sell clear proofing solution, or sometimes blue or whatever the colour is. Should last a few years or top up if rain water appears to be soaking in rather than running off

Use a garden sprayer to apply liquid Fabsil - usually better than buying the spray version.
