Topic : dogs & clubs

I have started my long awaited review of clubs from a dog's perspective.

Please take a look, and also e-mail me with other reviews or add comments to the reviews.

Obviously I have only just started, but I have long list of clubs I have visited.

You will find the 'dog & clubs' link under the 'clubs' heading

You forgot Harlow Blackwater where I was their roving race reporter for a couple of years until getting the sack for writing race reports after downing two bottles of red and nobody could understand them, or so they said. Us dogs are allowed evrywhere except in the bar (but neither are smokers)and there are luverly long walks on the sea wall and rabbits to chase under the dinghies. Just have to watch out for the adders though.

And Harlow also run a dog throwing competition “dogs are allowed everywhere” but best landing dogs over the sea wall get less points than the ones that travel the furthest but you only get one go and the hose pipe is free. Lynn’s greyhound is brilliant due to the length of its legs. Wilf is not so good due to his ability to turn round in mid air.
And all complaints to [email protected]

Roughly translated means,

I prefer being a dog, it makes more sense to me.

Zak
You're welcome at Banbury anytime. You have to be on a lead in the clubhouse and be kept out of the kitchen (at least when the thought police are active). Plenty of good walks around the reservoir, lots of rabbits to chase on the club site and the pontoons are just great for jumping off after sticks. See you on 22nd April along with your entourage!

I have enabled 'annoymous' moderated comments so you can add these to the club info - Top Dog I have added yours to Banbury.

John Murrell - What about me? Just for that I won't come!

Boat Bloke & anon (what to shy, frightened I might bite you, sure but the interest in Dogs & Sailing is intense, just because it doesn't interest you, we have had over 200 hits to the site from here since this thread was started! It is rather relevant to those that like to travel to different clubs every now and again.

Dudley will not be chasing pussy(ies) due his recent operation...currently he is sitting on a pile of cushions giving me evil sidelong glances...

Whitstable is a very dog friendly club. There is even an area locally known as "dog poo alley". We can go everywhere except in the bar. I've had the operation too so no s******g for me, sadly no drinking either. Life's a bitch.
See you all at the silver tiller
