MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Chipley shed clearance

I have some items that might well not be firewood, but may inspire some one.
On the shelf we have a set of knees plus centre case with hog ready to go in to the building frame and all the other bits to build a Tails.
Or we have a shed full of top-notch West Afr timber/ply and tooling (just add matches)
Any interest?

Are you moving, or just spring cleaning?
As you know, Mark busted a knee in the autumn, and my crew Mary twisted her knee so cant sail at the moment, so spare set of knees would come in handy.

Also as 'Whos a Pretty Boy' centre board case still leaks, perhaps you could just drop that spare one in for me, I guess it is pretty much the same as the tales. I presume that it would be covered by the 20 year gaurentee on WAPB:-)

I did wonder who would bid for the knees!

You’re lucky my front-end girl grounded an aeroplane
But she’s a fit girl now not shore about the aeroplane
The knees and case are part of a pre-cut Merlin
The boat-building end of the shed is to be sorted
10 years late but I keep filling up as I look at it
Bring on the matches
I have a new rocket in there they tell me
Well it was new

Jacko,
I don't suppose you have come across an old carbon single pole , repair job whatever, that you might wish to sell on ?

Is this the end of wood sandwich construction, Jacko?

I'll join the others in wishing you and Linda a Happy New Year as well

Hello Jacko
Do you happen to have a lifting rudder in your Essex Shed?
Regards

Jacko
That pile of lovely ply that we could not use (3547) and now your not using it. Oh what a shame.
Happy New Year to you both. Look forward to seeing you on the water at some point during the year.
Missed you at the Brass Monkey.
Bye for now

Sorry John
No lifting blade in shed
Most chaps around here with lifters end up in the mud (not seen again)

Mr Trout you lovely man, I visited URYC just the other day all looked the same. I cast a wary eye over to “Bastard point” the tide was Hacking round as always and my trough’s arrived at the little beery evening at the bar with the sun setting, all a horribly long time ago. Now read on dit~~~~~~~Dit~~~~~~~ Dit

Must put a breathalyser on my computer... Pole is still for sale, only used in manner for which Jacko built it. You may use it in any way you deem fit after having purchased it!
