Anyone with one of these confounded things got any dimensions? I want to save a few quid and get my local metal bashing shop to make one rather than fork out £350 ..... CAD drawing would be very nice !!!!!!

Winder do them for a lot less than £350.... well that is for a bare hoop of course.
A couple of years ago Guy had a spare banging around which he sold to me for about £80. Add traveller and blocks....job done.

Our local shipyard (large pro yard and steel stockist)welded one up for us for £10 plus materials. It's worth looking into, try your local college engineering dept.

My nephew made mine up out of stainless steel - 19mm diameter, width 400mm, height 1200mm (cut to suit boom and strop)see photo.

I have the other half of a length of harken track if anyone wants it, you can only buy it in one length and this does two square top hoops. I dont want anything for it just pay the postage if your keen give us a bell.
