I'm after some short lengths of carbon tube.
If anyone has a broken pole they haven't thrown away and want to get rid of, i'm interested!
Cheers

how much, what diameter?

standard merlin pole size, not sure yet on how much.
For what i want about a foot, my friend may want a couple of metres but not as a whole length.

Windy was it? What I have is 'tiller' diameter. May work as 'internal' plug, but not sure

it's not to repair a pole.
It's for a modification to my boat to allow the soakaways to work properly.
sounds like what you have will work.

Chris
If light weight/thin wall tube would do, try a fishing shop. They usually have loads of broken pole sections - very thin wall, but they'll sell you a bundle of bits for a very low rate if you ask nicely.

Decathlon do fishing poles for about £4.00 20 mm outside diameter, may also make a good tiller extention.
