Well not quite for nothing, as I want a charitable donation of at least £1, and I think a fiver would be more like it for the following.
Over the holiday break, in moments of boredom, I have put in a lot of work putting in Merlin Rocket clubs into my GPS, in fact I got carried away and downloaded some software onto my PC and have researched all 83 clubs listed on the Merlin Rocket site and recorded them into a 'Points of Interest' (POI) file.
I have visited 32 out of the 85 clubs, personally, and have reviewed the directions on the MR web site, the club web sites and looked at aerial pictures to determine the exact locations. In some circumstances I have skewed the location so your GPS will (hopefully) make you approach from the right direction (e.g. Upper Thames) and where parking is on the other side of the river (Hampton & Minima) I have included these locations.
The only club I have had to make a guess at is Wormit, as Woodhaven Pier isn't a specific map location on the O/S, and there is no aerial coverage, so I have 'guessed' the jetty by Woodhaven.
Anyway, I can create POI files for you in many formats - TomTom - SmartPath - Destinator - Navman - Navio - Garmin - MioMap - GoogleEarth and generic GPS eXchange Format and CSVs
I can only test on TomTom as this is my GPS.
Anyway, please e-mail me, with the amount you wish to pledge to charity and the charity you choose, and the format you want and I'll send to the appropriate POI file.
(p.s. please note I no longer have access to my old e-mail address [email protected])
Happy New Year

Are co-ordinates on the link (i.e. where the red circle is) the right location (56.4312 -2.9639)? as this is the exact data that goes into a POI file. If not, please click on multmap where you think the best spot is and read the co-ordinates off the bottom (only interest in the 56.???? and -2.????), ta
