Does anyone have any first hand experience of using Deks Olje D1 wood oil and D2 varnish? I wonder whether it could be a more sympathetic treatment for 40 year old ply than coating it with epoxy.

Yes, it's horrible stuff to use spectacular in result and very expensive.
