Hi, I wonder if anyone with access to the archives might know of the history of the Phantom Kipper, 2825, currently named "Another Tartan Sunrise" with the distinctive livery of a yellow hull and red stripe, and a yellow spinaker with a red band across. I only have the yearbook for this year. The previous owner has very kindly passed the boat on to me and I would be interested to know how such a distinctive identity was bestowed on the boat, as he was unsure of the boats history. Many thanks in anticipation

2825 'Lindisfarne' was probably built in lat1973 or early 74 by Bob Hoare at Christchurch. Her first owner is recorded as R S D Morton of 37 Arnison Rd, East Molesey, Surrey. Her name was changed to ' Another Tartan Sunrise', before the 1976 YB went to the printer, by her new owner D Costain of Claremont, William St, Dunoon, Argyll and Holy Loch SC. By 1977 he/she had moved to Cheshire and then Manchester and had joined Bala SC. In 1982 she was owned by R Powell at Redditch SC and in 1987 by P Anderson of the same club. By 1994 she was owned by M Page, 18 Inglewood Ave, Heatherside, Camberley, GU 15 1RJ and of Queen Mary SC. I don't think the year books show any further changes. Hope this helps.
