I have one of these on the boat I bought recently, am unsure how to rig it correctly and where the other end of the kicker should end up.. anyone have a rigged photo they could share?

hi, i have got a Hog-stepped merlin rocket MK VII that i have decided to get back onto the water, but there are a few blocks and bits missing and I have no idea were they go. she was built in the 1980's and is made of wood. would you be able to send me a pic of a Merlin. like mine that shows the bits and bobs?

Fergus, I'm sure your boat would have been built during late 50's early 60's if it is a mark VII.

Is there a number etched into the thwart or hog (near the Transom) from that we can give you some accurate info

Another question, this time from [email protected]

i have just bought sail no 1067, called "VISA" : (1) does any one have any history (2) The boat has been stored in the open for more than 2 years, as a consequence, the varnish on the stem, the decking and parts of the hull has vanished: where this has happened, the wood has gone black: is their any way to restore the appearance to be like the picture - peterh
