is there a older boats allowance/ difference on the open circuit. if so how do you find out which number boats fit where please

If you join the MROA (which is hardly expensive) you can find out about all the age allowances.  You will also be able to find out easily which Open meetings use them and which require that you race off scratch.  
What number is your MR?

You do not even have to join the MROA, but it is really a must for all owners, just click on 'Committee' under the MROA heading on the home page then click 'What does the committee do?'and one of the clicks at the bottom of the page is 'handicap (PY) adjustment table'

I should really make that easier to find...
