2534, Tiggatoo, is for sale at Bosham (Chichester Harbour). I had a look at her last week expecting to find a Proctor XVI due to the advertised sail number (1648)
Has been laid up for 3+ years and in generally good condition considering with mostly sound varnish. A badly botched repair where 2 of the lower strakes have parted company for a couple of feet needs redoing properly. I lost interest when I noticed that the bouyancy tank bulkhead no longer butts up against the hull and loads of silicone sealant suggests problems there. Galvanised road trailer looked in good condition.She has been abandoned and the boatyard are keen to dispose of her so price very negotiable.
