Clacton has sailing clubs but no Butlins which was razed and is reborn as a twee housing estate.

The great city of San Francisco! Tides are a bit mad off St Francis YC, but the wind is legendary and they have micro-breweries that make a passable attempt at an ale. Better check out those container companies and expect to lose the boat for many weeks!

The Scorpion's went to Paignton Sailing Club this year. Similar numbers to us and in a nice part of the country. Don't know much else though other than I think there's a good zoo !

Brightlingsea is next door to Clacton. See previous stuff on the Northern Cinque Port.

Brightlingsea gave us an excellent vintage event but be warned, Merlins are in the slow handicap fleet there!
