Topic : Parkstone Open

For those of you planning your calendar the open is a one day event on Sunday 17 Sep this year. We will be doing three harbour tour races, staying in deep water, so you can enjoy the same sailing we do every week. There will be a lead boat showing the way. You are welcome to join in the club racing on Saturday afternoon 2.10 start approx 2 hour race and in the bar in the evening. More details to follow nearer the time.

Come and join us for the club sailing on the Saturday. Need to leave the shore at 1.40 approx. You may get to know where the marks are and get a feel for the Parkstone chop! Even if you don't sail on the Saturday you are welcome to drop the boat off.

Please note that Mark's offer of crewing can also include the use of Chambulls (a pretty decent Winder) if there are any hot shot helms that find themselves without a Merlin at the moment.

I suddenly have a slight transport issue for the open this weekend.

Is anyone coming down to Parkstone from the M3 with a towbar but without a boat who would be able to help me out and bring my boat back to the bottom of the M3?

Any offers gratefully received!!!
Thank you
Mark
