Hi Tim |
Hope so as we will be there on Friday too. |
Ah, could Friday turn out to be a late one, as the race notice says warning signal not before 11:55? |
Yep, the club will be open from early Friday for those with tents and motorhomes etc. We could even open the bar if required. (yes) If you are really early, you can even help put the marquee up! |
just open the bar AFTER we put the marquee up eh Tim.why can't we go sailing on the friday? |
Sorry its a lease thing. Sailing only on Weekends Wednesdays and Bank Holidays. So you will just have to enjoy the beer, just leave some for the rest of us on Sat night. |
As some of you may know, Mark was assualted on Friday night and has a broken knee, so we won't be going to the inlands. |
Sorry to hear about that Alan. Give our best wishes to Mark. |
Alan, I've emailed you re: getting trophy to Blithfield. Best wishes to Mark as well! |
Jeepers! Sorry to hear that Alan. Hope Mark makes a speedy recovery. |
What time is the last race on Sunday? I may pick up my new purchase after the last race. |
Mark saw the consultant today and the news is a lot better. The fracture is not detached, so no operation and cast has been taken off taken off. Physio and self repair, first Physio went well today, swelling down and some movement in the joint. Estimated time to sailing - 6 weeks, although protective knee pads advised in case of accidental bashing but no problems with tendons. |
There are a number of crews avaiable for the weekend - if anyone is stuck, please give me a call. |
