Jeremy, good to see the Deacon and Lady Drummond are attending the event. See you there, if not before at the Hampton open/party.

For those who will be attending but not partaking - the whole of the racing area can be seen from the Clubhouse. Easy chair, drink in one hand and binoculars in the other!
If the wind is in the right direction we could even get a gybe in front of the club - just before the dam. (See aerial photo - club at right hand end of the dam)

If you are coming please add your name to the list.

More importantly the Merlin Dogs want to know what the club's dog policy is?

Woof.

p.s. If there is a Yoof forum why can't we have a Woof forum? Paws for thought!

As some of you may know, Mark was assualted on Friday night and has a broken knee, so we won't be going to the inlands.

We have the old boat prize and need to return it. If anyone lives within a reasonable distance of us (Walton on Thames) who is going to Blithfield, can you e-mail me so I can drop the trophy round.

Many thanks.

Mark saw the consultant today and the news is a lot better. The fracture is not detached, so no operation and cast has been taken off taken off. Physio and self repair, first Physio went well today, swelling down and some movement in the joint. Estimated time to sailing - 6 weeks, although protective knee pads advised in case of accidental bashing but no problems with tendons.

The good news must have been due to the sympathy and support of all his Merlin mates.

Not quick enough recovery for the inlands, though.
