MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Salcombe tidal channels

Just found this while waiting for a computer to rebuild

If you type in a post code or salcombe, zoom in to the bay you can see where the deep channels are, and the shallows. or find the location of you accomadation.
Or if you area has the birds eye view, you can even see whats parked on your drive, very scarry.
See you there with you colour printed maps.

Dave,

the only problem is that the Estuary is on the move continiously. Yalton for example is a lot shallower this year than ever before. I think that we can send the Merlins up there now that no one is using fixed rudders..................!!!!!!!

Your sadistic PRO!!

Yes - watch out for the age of the images on that site - round this way it still shows Halfway Yacht club with all the boats round it.
Halfway YC was demolished to make way for a Premier Lodge at least 3 yrs ago - possibly 4. Google Earth much more up to date.
