can anybody give me any info on mast setup spreaders/rig tension the mast is an ali one and the boat built in the 70s any info would be great.many thanks pete burton

Have a look at Batt sails Merlin tuning guide, theres a link on this site from the 'How to buy' section.  This is as good a starting point as any. Barry.

The Batt sails page is missing at present, I have emailed Dick to ask him where it went.

Of course there is a good tuning guide with everything you want in the library section of the site, link below, but it is yet another benefit of being a member of the class association as that bit of the library is restricted to members.  Will leave the "if you have a Merlin you need to be a member" plug to others
