I've recently bought an old Merlin (3100), which came with sails. I'm trying to find out the sailmaker so I can get a tuning guide. So, if you think you know your sailmakers please reply with your email address and I'll send you a sketch of the logo. Alternatively - anybody know how to post pictures on this list?

If it's an A but in the shape of an S it's Alverbanks.
Thats the only obscure one that i know of, but happy to have a guess at a picture!

If it is a little red Flying Dutchman silhouette then it could be an old Musto & Hyde. Later Hyde. Musto used this logo as he won the FD Olympic silver medal in 64 in the Tokyo games.

Sorry Dave I misunderstood. The logo is a simple black symbol-no little red boats. sort of looks like a sail with a wave underneath.

Thanks to you all for your help. It was definitely Pinnel & Bax. I now have a tuning guide and can get to grips with making this merlin move like it should!
