I see no GGGGGGGG?

Stu & Andy Davies, and Young Blakiooo all visible though...

The event looks even less interesting on screen than it did in real life!

..but see how my hand is poised, feeling every little strain on the spinnaker sheet, every little zephyr...

In truth it was when we were watching an RS300 rockin' & rollin' down the second leg, and debating whether a rule 42 protest would gain wide agreement or see us lynched from the nearest spreader arm...

The only picture I could find was of this monty python toy, but I think you'll agree that the likeness is spooky.

That is spooky! I would have agreed with you GGGGGG, but there was also a guy in MR 3634 that we subsequently named the new king of rock 'n' roll. He stood up in his boat grabbed the main sheet and rocked and pumped his way round us and about 30 other boats at the second mark! In hind sight i should have done the same but did not think that was Cricket! He finished 50 places in front of us!

I tend to find solo sailors the worst for pumping, i think i only find it annoying because when i try all i get is a wet arse

I thought it was just a technique for popping the top batten, at least that is what I say.

Jeremy there wasn't a 3634 in the race?

He was too busy rocking his boat to notice.

Sorry Alan it was 3632. And up to that point we had not rocked at all. Having seen that a little rocking may have crept in!

Shame Passing Cloud didn't get an outing as JH would have had a fair chance of winning...

Maybe. If you got all the legs right between the marks then you could do very well. Unfortunatly i got them all wrong bar the last leg where i picked up about 30 places and then lost about 15 on the finish line again!!
