MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Starcross Steamer

The open Starcross Steamer pursuit race is on February 5th, a little bit earlier this season to take advantage of an excellent tide. The slowest boats will start at 11:00. Merlins usually form one of the largest fleets, and with the Steamer forming the first event in the revised Southern Circuit, the competition should be excellent.

Sadly I won't be racing as 3546 Gilt Complex is having a major refurb, but drop me an email or give me a call if you need somewhere to stay - just moved house so now have plenty more space!

We hope to be there (but I hope you have sorted the weather! Febuary is a bit early in the year for me to get my wetsuit on!)

Have fun guys, should be some great racing!

Hope to see you all on the water soon, hopefully Gilt Complex will be back in action for Hamble but if not will definitely be at Salcombe. Tim Coombe has done a superb job so far stripping and revarnishing the decks, rolled her over yesterday so he can start repainting the bottom.
