Sails were originally from 2739 built in 1974, so I believe one set to be original the others are newer. Your not going to win any silver tiller events with them but they'll get you on the water.

I think they are Hydes, Rowsell and Speed if I remember correctly (They're in the loft at the moment). There are no spins, postage for a main and jib will be roughly 15 quid with ANC, if anyone knows cheaper then brilliant.

As I'm here we also have the original bare mast, boom, complete rudder and c/b and some assorted fittings from 2739. All must go, will accept anything!

Sorry to all to advertise this on here, know it isn't really for this purpose. See you on the water soon.

By the way anyone got any suggestions for what colour I should paint 3494, come on the comeadians..

I also have a set of Batts for a hog stepped rig off 3182 (loose footed). Did not think they were worth advertising but since other people are parhaps i should. They are not brilliant and a re a standard size but as Hugh has said they will get you on the water. Buy hughs first though as i would not want to step on his toes.

Far side from Berkshire but can travel especially when it comes to sailing (we're wintering at Frensham in Surrey!). Not sure quite what we need as we've three old (1968,1970's) sails or whether to talk to a sailmaker such as Dick Batt first though for advice and possibly a new sail that fits properly - anyone have a rough idea of prices for a new non-kevlar main?

We're Larking about at Frensham - they aren't a Merlin club but we've also got four Larks to play with (and fix). Half Cut also could do with some tlc to the deck before the next event so it's a busy winter.
