MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Computer Help Pplease pretty please

Sorry to clog up this excellent forum but others may be having the same problem. How the hell using Windows XP and OUTLOOK where I keep my address book can I create labels that will print just one label per person, mailing list that is to say? I've bought J8560 label from Avery but they do not seem to be listed since I bought from WH Smith (always a mistake they do not generally stock Yachts and Yachting!) may be out of date. AG is bewildered not for the first time by Bill Gates otherwise superb Software!

I presume you are using the Pro Write ad in.

I think 7160 is the same format as 8560

Word has a load of label making stuff

Look at Tools > Envelopes and Labels, then select Avery A4 types and there's a big list. I think you can link to outlook from there.

Go into word > tools>mail merge>Labels then follow the wizard and add the label type when you get to select label.

Bit late I know but...
I use Smartstamp from the royal mail for printing labels and stamps. You can add a logo or strap line to the stamp part and either print individual or mail merge labels. The reason I mention it is because it uses your Outlook address folders to originate the address.
It does cost 50 a year but for my business it's worth it...
The labels are Avery J5102s which I get from Euroffice on the web...They might stock the one's you are looking for.
