There must be a magazine due soon - any news?

I beleive my restoration of my Star Rocket is featured in the coming Mag. Cant wait to see it in print!!

Any photos of the restoration to join 36, 111, 1728 etc on the vintage repairs page?  I look forward to the article too.

I did send all the pictures to Mags about a month ago but they have not appeared on the web.

Same happened to me with 1728 - they didn't want to stick them up here until the magazine was out and read which I guess is fair enough.

True, it would spoil it a bit. Still can't sell the damn thing though!! Hopefully the article may get a response.

That was always the problem I had with pictures when I was Editor. I had a habit of Squirrling pictures away hoping they did not hit the web first. No have hundreds of pictures and CD's at home.

Speaking from experience, our new Mag Editor has a huge task each time he produces an edition, and bearing in mind it is all done voluntarily and in his spare time etc .. it is a real B*%£ard of a job. I recall putting proofs together at 2 - 3 in the morning, checking that everything is OK and ready to go to hit deadline.

So we need to cut all Committee members a huge amount of slack.

We have been discussing the mag with Pat at our social evenings at the club and he has been working hard on it. Colating that amount of information is no easy task as i am sure he will tell you. so Hurahh for all the hard working Committee members!!

I do believe the magazine should hit the doormat this very week...unless the printers have had a problem.

Great - and I am sure that we all appreciate the efforts of the compilers - a hell of a job.  Look forward to something better to read than the Turner report on pensions!!

The magazines were posted(2nd class to save us all money)on Wednesday Nov 30th - so you should have them tomorrow or saturday.

Starting work on the next one now!!!
