Who else is still buzzing after yesterdays blasting!!

What a sail - very very breezy for those who weren't there, enough to sadly break Jude's mast into small pieces and a lot of capsizing all around!

Andy Dolbiooo and Alex 'shortass' Jackson won the day with Dave and I a close second after an unplanned swim - one of those 40knt puff's recorded on Chimet weather station we think!

If yesterday is setting the pace for the winter its going to be a hell of a series!

After Mark's training with Mark Rushall I was looking forward to crewing him and finding out some of those special tips, especially around gybing, but sailing out to the start it was clearly a boat breaking day, so we took the cheap option and went back to shore to watch.

Whilst the Laser 5000 didn't win, when they had the kite up it looked like you were standing still.

No need to be bitter Rachel. Anyway, there was nothing close about your second position, ak ak ak.

Big congrats go to Hywel and Lucy for getting round the course and flying their kite in 35knots of breeze!

Don't think he's grown more than an inch or two since you've know him Rachel :)

Well done to all. No sailing at Shoreham due to 8 foot plus waves. Was one windsurfer out, personally I think he was nuts!

It was awesome wasn't it! The more I think about it - those were pretty extreme racing conditions! Glad you're making it to the next one - see you there!

Come on then where is the race report best mate? Was it a foggy drifter? Did any breeze pop up at all?

(Poked my head out of the window Sun morn and decided more kip was the better option! A poor performance wot wot)

You can blame me for the Gaybar being absent from racing on Sunday - I did the same as fluffy sticks....looked out the window to see nothing but fog, no wind and ice on the car! Called the old helm and he sounded as hungover as I felt so opted to stay in bed!! Sorry for missing it! how much racing did you manage to get in?

Yep! We got a race in - 2 laps was all.. but enough!
It was a light, fickle breeze, just good to get out in the winter sunshine and crack the ice off the boat!
Warmed up afetr the race by the hot tomato soup and roll afterwards.. does it get any better??

By the way Alex - after checking the results yesterday for the 1st race - even with all that capsizing and tom foolery in 30knts+ we were exactly 1 minute behind you at the finish.. how mad is that!

Sad old man.

No I don't think thats Davo 'Boring'

I think its either Alex or Bestest Chum Andy Dolbioo..

Both of you two thnk you can get away with teasing me - but look who's not getting any love when i see them next!!!

Clue: You two till I find out who's mocking me!

Not actually guilty - but come on Bestest Chum...

We could actually spin it all the other way round you know - cos I happily admit I'm a rubbish sailor.

Anyway it doesn't matter but dont forget - there's always loads of love to share around!! Just to prove it - i'm going to give you a big sloppy kiss and a big grope next Sun! If Felix stands on tippy toes he may chance his arm at a wee grope n'all!! You excited?

Grope Grope

What woman in her right mind wouldn't be excited by that...

Wasn't me, was in Dublin all day yesterday and have boarding pass to prove it. I think an apology is in order Ms Cooper. Re special little smoochy woochies, FS and FX are lining a few up for Dave, might distract the little rascal.
