If i do remember, it was sailed by the Martin Bros on Queen Mary

Ebay does turn up some classics...and some dross!
Check this link out - I can't believe one of the worlds top sailors would 'sell out' in such a degrading way...

It amazes me that people offer dross like this for sale - I have used better sails than this as dustsheets for decorating!

Anyone want a dustsheet? Various sail numbers...

What's even more depressing is that people buy this kind of stuff! Although the thought of a 114 feet luff length may confer some advantage notwithstanding the condition!?

Actually the Uffa Fox Sea Shanties are great fun - 2 years ago at Cowes Week they played 'life on the ocean waves every morning before racing started' - very uplifting - I wonder where one can get the CD?

Dick Johnson well known 14 & x sigma sailor is the voice of Cowes week radio, the sea shanty bit is his idea of a bit of fun (with Simon Vago) If you can't find him & are seriously deaf or have a warped sence of musical humour give me a call. regards Barry.

Thanks for the offer - have found a copy on the web. Anyway I am not the only one who likes Uffas songs - it seems Frank Zappa was a fan too! www.bbc.co.uk/music/folkcountry/ reviews/greenberg_spring.shtml
