Looks great Miles. I must admit I regret not going for the ribbon stripe deck. It gives it a beautiful finish. Congrats. |
Hi Miles |
That looks really good - all that thinking time! I trust that you are going for the full sophisticated bit and will varnish the outside. |
varnishing outside not really an option, construction method means that it would look like a current bun! |
No problems choosing a name for her then! |
what is the construction method? |
archimedian spiral removable clamps and epoxy! |
so how does that make it look like a curant bun and what are those clamps like, sound complecated? |
I think he means screws [Archimedean] which he then removed leaving a hole which was then goobered up and sanded down, hence the spotty residue! |
Peter, you should be able to spot them in picture. http://www.littlejoesolutions.co.uk/merlin/P1010022.gif |
judging by the amount of carbon fibre I thought it would be somthing radical! |
Here's a link to a Porkins set of sails on e-bay with no reserve, Miles http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=98955&item=7163641496&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW |
Thanks Andrew, have now acquired a full suit. |
