When taking your boat away for 3 days solid sailing, what should you take with you? Does anybody keep a checklist or is it based on habit?

3 pairs of underpants and a botttle of Pimms is usually enough - cadge the rest!!
Perhaps, more seriously, sailing gear to cover a range of conditions - no point being trussed up ina drysuit in 24 degress and a well stocked tool box. Oh and a reasonably well stocked wallet , those instructors get very thirsty!!

My own lists normally cover nappies, toys, plastic spoons...and before you make a comment, thats for the kids not me.
I suggest adding plasters to a well-stocked toolbox.

Quick-setting epoxy, a series of screws and bolts, shackles in various sizes, some bits of string, a mole wrench, drill & bits, duck tape, spinnaker tape. There is a good chandlery at Rutland, tho not cheap.
I've got a few blocks and cleats that sit at the bottom of my box of bits but I haven't really ever had to use them

Spare wheels and a footpump are a good idea - just ask Midland Circuit Chappie how many times he changed the trailer wheel before he got to Shustoke the other week. Mind you, I have heard a rumour that you are meant to put air in the tyres before you start or is that a myth??

Funny, I just read this after getting back from Richards house, from borrowing his wheel.
Top bloke RichardT is!!!!

yes. Air is a must. it seemed to have air at the time but only on a G string. You need about 40 psi. No damage to the two brand newtyres though so normal play is resumed.
lesson learned!
