I need some sails for club racing only, currently using what I believe are Batt sails from 1977 or so and the threads are rotting. I'm thinking luff of 5800mm or so and foot of around 2500mm, loose footed. Can anyone help? Will pay reasonable amount. Thanks in advance!

I'd really hate to buy a really nice modern second hand sail, only to get the luff reshaped. Even more, I can't even conceive of getting a new sail made for 2435--lovely though she is, the main reason I'm sailing her and not a more modern rig is finances. So if anyone has an older but decent sail for a Proctor D, can you please give me a shout? There must be a dozen or two buried out there somewhere in garages. Help?

Oh for God's sake I'll go and have a look at the one I've got in the shed.... You might get an email on the weekend.

Hi Rob,
I have 2 mains and a jib kicking around which came with 3494. I have never used them although have had them out on the floor, they are in average condition and definitely usable. All are dacron, get in touch if your interested.
Regards,
Hugh.

As progress on restoring Secret Water No 111 progresses (slowly) my thoughts have turned to sails and wonder if in the dark recesses of someone's garage there is a set of very old sails which might be suitable and in keeping with a boat which is 58 years old. The boat came with a red jib and a main from boat 22** so although colourful not exactly Merlin style!!! Contact me through my email if you can help.
PS an old centreboard with the lead lump on the bottom would be a real bonus if anyone had one but hey! that's a long shot.
