We race out of Plymouth and will complete at least four cross channel races.

How desperate are you and what do you mean by 'experienced'?  I own and helm MR2435 but only sail club level on a rather mild river--the Avon in Evesham!  Feel free to turn me down if you're not interested...but I'm aiming to get on big water myself eventually.
