Well some of the adverts are a year plus old also not gettin a response from others could just not like me, so thought it would be easier if i filterd my search by asking who still has their boats in my range for sale as i need a boat quick fast!

Has 3425 "Heart of Darkness" gone? That looks like quite a good one on paper.

Sacre bleu is knackered I'm afraid - unless it's been fixed over the winter.

i've recently bought 3210 off of the lists, so if you want to remove it, it'd save the previous owner a load of annoying phone calls.

Thanks guys,
Ian

Also removed.

That's 3 in one night!!

If you enquire about a boat and it's sold please let me know and it'll be dealt with. If the owner can't be bothered to tell me i need to find out any which way i can!

Heart of Darkness only went up a few days ago, so i'd think it's still available.

Mark, have you tried contacting 3394? It's up for £1500 but it has been on the list for ages and it does ask for offers, they just might be able to get down to the price you can afford especially if they sell the combi trailer separately and you rely on the Fuller double-stacker

WAPB looks to be similar to ROTS. James Pearce was sailing the original ROTS last year at opens and the champs, admittedly with a very good rig, and it went well without a lot of weight in it. There were only 2 boats built to this design, neither are well-known. However it is a much closer shape to the CT than anything else you will get for £1000. If you are able to get some cast-off bits for the rig later it may be a very good buy. Jacko himself may well have some information on the boat and the design if nobody else knows. The boat on e-bay is a Bad Company, with that narrow transom you really would struggle in a blow downwind. Good luck!

I had the first HBR, which was a slightly modified WAPB.

Performace wise the HBR was tremendous, almost untouchable, offwind in anything above a force 4 while still retaining some performance to windward though nothing special.

In strong winds it was also very easy to sail.

In light winds it was always a bit like sailing a 10 ton lorry!!

The boat i had was deckstepped and i did put a SS carbon rig on it too.

3394 might actually be Jacko's old boat - he owned one for quite a while as the design was intended for himself.

Further to Mark's problem i've now emailed every owner on the list to try and get the list bang up to date.

This was last done in September so it's about time really.
