Q,What rig do you have, a tall one or short one?

I've got plenty of spare sails etc. including a launching trolley (not off a Merlin) but would probably do the job. I've also got lots of bits of chandelry, fittings etc. I'm based in the North west, let me know if I can help. Regards Martin. (lots of the bits are off a couple of older boats)

1084 is a Chippendale built Proctor X11. She was my 3rd MR. Early year books indicate that the owner completed her. I'm sure this must be a mistake as I could hardly hold a paintbrush. I think I sold her to Mr EA Goodey at Banbury SC, probably in about 1961 or 2. I sailed her at Rye Harbour and then Banbury S.C. and although we had some success in club racing I can't recall winning much away from home in those long gone days. Mr Goodey renamed her 'Retro' but I'm ashamed to say I can't recall what I called her originally.

Would be good to see her back at Banbury for the Vintage Merlin Open in September.

Correction. Between my ownership of 1084 and Mr Goodey, according to the 1962 Year Book, she was owned by Mr I Freeman of South Cerney S.C.and he called her 'Weetoo'.I regret I still can't remeber her original name but it may have been 'Antiar'.
