Could someone give me the overall dimensions for a carbon boom?

Length
Inner/Outer diameter
Circumference

Well..it's one of these new fangled Merlin Rocket things!! 

Obviously foot length varies but an idea of the other dimensions would be useful. I cannot find anything in the rules governing the shape of the section or the size?

Then look at the foot of the maisail add a bit for the outhaul thingy and about 3" Circ should do it. It's so technical you see! (Ironic)

Before God started shaving i think booms had to pass through a 5" hole? Maybe they still do.

5" diam boom! that would give you serious concussion. Check out superspar/chipstowe/procter websites the info's all out there.

The SuperSpar is 76mm dia, Proctor 78mm I think and Chipstow very sexy!!! As long as the main foot plus 6in for the outhaul...
