I have just acquired this boat that needs some restoration but will be on the water next season looking pristine - does anyone have any history?

My Dad, George Dalby, bought the boat in 1978ish. We sailed her at Trent Valley until about 1990 when father built his own boat. Scrumpy is a Chippendale MkIX, we got her going well on the river and won a few club trophies. She was sold within the club but allowed to languish.

I now own another MkIX, I think they are a great river boat.
