We’re looking forward to welcoming the Merlin Rockets and Fireballs to Shoreham at the weekend – Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July. We are excited to be offering the same popular format as last year with six races on shorter courses with a target race time of 45 minutes each.

The galley will be open for breakfast and throughout the day, with a Hog roast in the evening (£12.50 for tickets). There is free parking and camping on site, but campers are requested to unpitch their tents before racing on Sunday.

The programme for the weekend is as follows;

Saturday 29th July – High Tide: 16.29

10.00 – 12.00: Registration in the Club House
12.30: Briefing in front of the Club House

Warning signal for Race 1 – Merlins start 1st followed by Fireballs (subject to amendment at race briefing)
Race 2 to be run as soon as possible after Race 1
Race 3 to be run as soon as possible after Race 2
Evening
Bar Open

 Just a word of warning. If you're driving to Shoreham for the open this weekend please allow plenty of time.
It is Gay Pride, Brighton this weekend and Ride London which means there are potential road closures around Dorking on the A24 and the M23/A23 will be busy. 
First start not until 2.00pm on Saturday, so plenty of time to get to sunny Shoreham...Forecast looking great!!
