With Pat as No1 in the draw is this an omen for the week?

The point of getting the form in early is that the reserve list is done in order of the entry being recieved, so the first form in means you will be no worse off than first reserve.
At least that was the way I read the NOR.

What I think you mean is: the chances of selection asuming a ballot is necesary are the same regardless of when the entry is posted, however should there be a ballot and should you not make the cut the reserve list will be in the order of receipt? In these difficult times the drop out rate is likely going to be higher, lets hope not though.
