Just to update everyone who replied to my earlier post regarding the above Merlin.

Had a long chat on the phone today with Chris, the vendor, and we've managed to sort things out. Seems that it has just been a breakdown in communication plus a few misunderstandings and now, all being well 'Pebbles' will be making her way to Scotland in late May!

Have said to Chris that should anyone suddenly turn up in the meantime waving cash around to grab it! Likewise if a suitable merlin turned up 60 miles away as opposed to 600 then it would make sense for me to do that! Well be touching base on a weekly basis between now and my trip south.

I've left posting a reply on this matter until the situation had been dealt with properly.

Andy and I have now spoken on the phone and we are both in agreement that the problem was a breakdown in communication and things got out of hand. (An unfortunate symptom of conducting business over email.)
 
There was nothing sinister or back handed going on, but as I've said a series of misunderstandings and comments being taken out of context lead to some things being said in anger by both parties.

We have now come to an agreement, and (barring any unforeseen circumstances) 3377 ‘Pebbles’ will be moving to Aberdeen.

Definately good to hear the Scottish fleet is increasing!
