Awesome weekend's yotting. Thanks to HRSC and their team. 25ish boats. Highly competetive, windier on Sat than Sun, glorious sunshine and a burnt nose. Richard Whitworth and Nichola Brook first, Tom and I second, William and Chris 3rd and (I think) Roger Gilbert and Jamie Stewart 4th. After that I don't really know. Will Rainey won the first race I believe and Dan was there or therabouts in most races too.

Where were the rest of you then!?

Stuck on the M3 with a blown trailer tyre (guess who forgot to pack the spare)Fek! ....Its not even funny!
Did compromise on going to QM once we got fixed for a really good blast but was a bit lonely ;)

We saw the abandoned boat across the M3 on our way to Frensham!! The cops were just pulling up to investigate. Caused much speculation as we couldn't tell what class it was with the quick look we got!

A very very nice highway man looked after it for us for half an hour whilst we got hold of another wheel. Learn't a lesson there...

I thought the talk of the boat being impounded if the wrong Highway people found it were a little worrying!

Only sorry we couldn't have helped - boat was already on site so no kit with us. Have now seen it happen to so many people that the spare has become part of the packing ritual.
If anyone needs a wheel, Towsure are probably the cheapest and do mail order.

Attach the spare to the trailer then uou can't forget it. You can get sucurity fitting devices to stop it being nicked.

I thought it was a legal requirement to carry a spare trailer wheel these days?

spoken with nerdy/train spotter voice "got one fixed to my trailer'. Not that there is anything wrong with train spotting of course!

Think I might just do that. Sods law the one & only time I didn't have
a spare in the boot....

Sadly my trailer has weird 3-stud wheels and I cant find a spare to fit anywhere, so never bothered (rather stupid of me now I think about it).

Seek and ye shall find (unless they aren't 8" wheels) Hope this helps Mags
