Seriously impressed - well done to all.
Who is the hard man sailing in sub-zero Scottish seas in a short wet suit????
Hats off and respect!

That's my helm Bill Sylvester now the proud of Merlin 3076 and Director of Hypothermia Limited (Scotland). Remember - nothing worn under the kilt or below the knees up here.

What can I say? I only turned up because they said it was a knobbly knees competition.
Garry and I can also claim credit for being the oldest crew (combined age 108) in the oldest boat. The more astute amongst you will by now have worked out why there is an acute absence of spinnaker in the only shot of us.

a) there are no holes in the deck anywhere for spinnaker
b) the last sport I took on "chute" was something you did with clay pigeons.
c) combined age of 149 (boat+ helm + crew) (41 +54 +54) means that any more than one piece of string at a time leads to confusion
d) a double ended pole is a pair of walking sticks
e) it seemed unfair to the opposition to embarrass them further!!!!
All great fun
