Topic : Dinghy Show and warming pan

Good Luck at Ally pally this weekend - I won't get to see the stand I'm afraid but I hope the table football (?) is a success!

Hopefully I'll see a few of you in Hamble for the warming pan?? Won't be sailing but will be around for drinks afterwards!

Oi Lucy, wot you doing sailing these big keelboaty things in Oz? And luring poor journalists from Y&Y on board. I have to spend hours typing on this forum to escape from the tedium of work, getting someone else to pay for you to go sailing sounds a good alternative to peering down allegedly sore throats and telling people it will get better anyway. Sadly I'm a bit old and crap at sailing to start a sponsored Olympic campaign, & then there's the mortgage to pay & elder daughter's wedding...*sigh* back to the day job

NEXT PATIENT PLEASE!!!

(thinks - hope at least someone has something interesting wrong with them)

Andrew

P.S. Still waiting on boatbuilder so I don't think the Warming Pan is on

The only boatbuilder who ever finished a project on time was Noah!

But Noah didn’t have to wait for the rig to turn up or the bloody snailmaker to pull his finger out.

And just think, if he hadn’t had to include all those planks he’s have had time to consider what type of hoop to put in.

As a piece of usless imformation those of you who have just sailed in the Warming Pan might like to know the Air temp was 4.2oc the sea 5.1oc
Theres a moral to this somewhere.
Sorry I couldn,t bring the old girl (3236) over for a play It looked pretty cold from the Island, Barry.

Bad luck Barry -
The Warming Pan is next weekend so you have plenty of time to get ready.
You could sail over from Cowes - possibly a chilly beat today - but by next weekend Spring will be upon us and we all be out on the Solent.
